EATING OUT: Busaba Thai Printworks

So the other night hubby and I decided to go to the cinema to see 'The Assassin'. Great film, beautifully shot and I guess you could say quite a traditional Chinese film - rather quiet though ha ha! We joked it was nearly a silent movie!

Anyway, we decided to grab a bite to eat before the film started. We had heard that Busaba Thai had just opened in town so we thought we would check it out. The staff were really friendly and when we mentioned that we had a film to catch the told our waiter so that they would rush our order through.

It was a little bit of a rush job and we didn't have time for starters or any extras, but we had some mains each that filled our belly just enough that allowed a bit of space for cinema snacks too! ;)

Hubby went for Fried Chicken with Sticky Rice and I had a Coconut and Vegetable Hot Pot with Rice. I think the fried chicken was maybe the wrong choice as he usually like something with a little more flavour but I really enjoyed mine. Considering it was vegan, it had a lot of flavour. I sometimes find that when I order any plant based dishes, they can lack a bit of 'zing' but this worked really well. We had a green tea each and also the gave us a bottle of lime water on the table which was super refreshing.

They also have an app that you can download from the app store, once you download it you will receive a £5 credit off your meal - which we did! Even better!

Definitely worth a try for something a little different in Manchester - great for pre - cinema dinner - date night!

Thanks for reading!
